Alltel upgrades Cleveland, Akron and Canton Broadband Wireless Network to EVDO Revision A Technology |

Alltel Wireless, a US mobile broadband operator, has upgraded its network to provide Evolution Data Optimised Revision A coverage in the Cleveland, Akron and Canton areas of the State of Ohio, US.

Colubris Networks, the leading global provider of intelligent wireless LANs (WLANs) for enterprises and service providers, announced that President and CEO Rob Scott has been selected to participate in a webcast panel discussion entitled "Operational Effectiveness," hosted by Ernst & Young. This webcast, the second in the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Leadership Series, will take place on Wednesday, July 23 at 11:45 a.m.

(NASDAQ: AIRN), a leading worldwide provider of WiMAX-based broadband wireless access networks, announced that the Saudi Arabian carrier, Saudi Telecom, has successfully deployed WiMAX services using Airspan's HiperMAX base stations, which provide both fixed and mobile WiMAX solutions. The second phase of the award is now being activated with Airspan supplying its EasyST indoor and ProST outdoor subscriber terminals. Airspan is working with its Saudi Arabian partner, Arabian Development and Marketing Company, Ltd (ADMC), to supply Saudi Telecom with WiMAX solutions.
